Flowing beats
Eyes closed.
Earbuds in.
Volume up.
And I'm gone.
The music begins:
soft beats with a gentle voice,
it eats my fears up
and it shakes my mind.
A wave of light
breaks in through my heart,
and ties its arms around it, tight.
So tight
it explodes,
the wave is released into my body
and it paints my chest with the sensation
of a hand pressing down,
it's the hand of music.
It reaches out to my arms
and my body-hairs stick up to let it get through
I can feel the tips of its fingers
touching, but barely, caressing.
The chills.
I let the sound consume my soul
and possess my body,
It fills in my lungs
and I'm not breathing anymore
I'm floating
I'm flying
this is what inspires me.
