Flowing Waters

Great howling river!
O' mighty waters!
How I wish I could move with you,
but I can't.
Though I listen to your melody everyday.
Such sounds of peace is needed,
because I'm filled with chaos.
Chaos louder than the sweetness of nature.
Great howling river!
O' mighty waters!
Help me loosen up the strings of life,
because I can't.
They won't let me get to you.
I'm forever their prisoner.
Please cut the ropes that dig deep in to my soul.
I need to be free,
so help me let me go.
Great howling river!
O' mighty waters!
Hear me now sweet waters of life.
I want to reach you,
but I can't.
Just bring your sweet melody to my ears,
and I'll listen.
I'll wait to be rescued by you.
Just free me now.
Great howling river!
O' mighty waters!
