To Fly
To fly is to be free.
There are no bounds,
Just the laws of gravity.
So I can go up, down and all around.
To fly is to release.
The wind in my hair and my face in the breeze,
Soaring higher,
I could never tire.
Stretching like superman across the sky,
There is no better experience than to fly.
As I close my eyes and just let go,
The air and wind aid my flow.
Wooooosh! past the birds and crows,
To prove my ability to fly.
Over the clouds I go, Maybe through?
OK, I will now try.
Into the mist I fly,
The cold vapor in my eyes.
Looking in the pure white shelf,
I see the breath of God himself.
Cool as water yet warm as the hearth,
It felt great to fly.
With the wind and nature too,
It felt like a heavenly rebirth.
My mind was gone, just peace and serenity,
Just to fly forevermore,
Not to live in obscurity,
To hurry and worry no more.
To be in the place without bounds,
To fly in the place where love and life resound.
