Fly
Inhale these words as they burn slow like a cigar,
Can you feel the smoke?
Or maybe you’re just too far,
To feel or even listen,
Kidnapped into a world that you just can’t fit in.
Now you are missing,
In the past reminiscing,
Your future in your hands but it feels like its slipping,
gone
Looking at the dawn but it’s hard to move on
When everything and everyone is telling you you’re wrong.
It’s like the world got all the answers for you,
You could search it up on YouTube or Yahoo
But wait, it didn’t tell you how to make it
In a world that break you down, brainwash
and strip you naked
now you feeling helpless
feeling worthless,
feeling like,
you aint gotta purpose,
dying in ya fears
cuz they ignore ya potential and overlook ya flair
ya talent ya skill
make you swallow it like a pill and keep it inside until you finally realize
that those dreams never died
they tryna come alive
and present to you a prize that the world cannot deny
ya pride ya future they lie in the sky
so stop looking down and just fly.
