Fly Away

Location

I want to arise like a phoenix from the ashes

Live for the moment and everything else can reside where the past is

You’ve been there, done that, it’s all said and done

Like Joey said:

“Nothing’s ever set in stone: use every rock they throw as a stepping stone”

Learn from your mistakes; I want to see a world where there is no hate

Love and laughter fill the air; if something wrong someone does care

A place where there’s neither racism nor chains on a spirit, yea

I wanna go there, blow with the wind bypass everything to get there

I do not even want it all just a small piece; a glimpse of paradise

A small piece of a non-ideal world, living right

A small spark of hope saying it’s gonna be alright

But that’s probably never gonna happen

A smoke a cigarette to keep time passing

Time is of the essence and I only have a passion

To believe that once again everything will turn to the good times

You know living day to day, having peace of mind, knowing everything is fine

Hopefully one day this heart ends reminiscing over good times

And not on a day full of drama and suffering

If I die tomorrow will I get a warning or pass away before morning?

Look mama is finally over, you need not to worry

Let me fly away before my vision gets blurry

I’m probably tripping but then again every legend begins with a story
