Fly Free

If I could be free I would fly away,

Away to as far as the eye could see.

Traveling across the world’s ocean bay.

To find my peace and freedom that would be.

Heading towards nowhere in particular.

To discover a few unknown places,

That others would have found spectacular.

Maybe even meet a few new faces.

Get to be able to fly with the birds,

To feel the wind brushing across my face.

To get to fly above animal herds,

No worries of being enclosed in space.

For what I want is to be free not caged,

And just to have wings and not to be changed.

Me
