Fly Free
Wings are clipped
with feathers scattering the ground,
they are wetted down
by soft-spoken imprudent whispers.
To fly on tattered, silken wings,
float in the tides of burdensome.
Give them to every life stricken with delicate sing-songs.
Pour out the wind
admist the ashen skies,
to sing, to hum,
this world's tainted lullaby.
