Fly On a Wall

Fly on a wall, fly on a wall. I never thought I'd be, just a fly on this wall. I could've been a bee, or a flea. I could've had teeth, or a beak. Yet I am only a fly, stuck on this wall. As people pass by, I flutter these wings of mine, to no avail. They shutter on past, like they don't want to be last. One of these days I might take flight, one of these days I just might. What shall happen to me then, as I fly past big ben? Maybe a news reel, or a front-page story. "He flew to be true, he flew to bring youth. Maybe one day he'll fly by you" This is a dream; however, as no one would notice. Through rise and fall, all in all, I'm a fly on a wall.
