Flying Above My Fear
Flying high above the clouds
There is no need to wait in crowds
Above everything else there is quiet
You don’t hear a sound, not even a riot
This is something I never thought I would do
Going on an airplane shows that I grew
At first I was afraid of everything below
The only hard part was going in the air though
I hated the feeling of leaving the ground
Every time it felt like I was going to drown
While my heart beated a little faster
All I could think about was a disaster
Once in the air things improved
The horror in my eyes diffused
I got over my fear in this moment
Finally I defeated my toughest opponent
