Flytrap Woman
Flytrap woman
I’m stellar
I’m better
I’m everything I’ve worked for
I love life
I strive nice
I pass by all my peers with
My grandeur
My splendor
And everything I’ve done for her
Isn’t good enough
Isn’t good enough
I’m one step
Short of
Her biggest expectations
I tried to
Move on to
Different aspirations
I love her
I serenade
Everything that I have made
Isn’t good enough
Isn’t good enough
I’m caught in her tantalizing teeth
Torn apart from deep down under me
Where she strikes her vitriolic blow
Where from, I’ll never know
Its just part of her guising show
A flytrap women is there to swallow
There to hold you and never let go
There to leave you but never say so
Never say no
I’m trapped here
In her world
Stuck without a mission plan
She grinds me
And shakes me
Until I am a grain of sand
Submissive
And worthless
Sifted through, my purpose
Isn’t good enough
Isn’t good enough
Like an insect I am blind
Fettered in her unkempt mind
As I go forth and try to grow
She stares at me and I slow
To a point of no control
And the flytrap dame is there to swallow
There to hold you and never let go
There to leave you but never say so
Swallowed
Digested
Used up for my nutrients
She smiles
To stun me
I forget the detriments
Her blue eyes
Like magnets
Draw me to her siren’s song
I am lost
I am bound
I’m in the danger zone
I’m lost and all alone
But she’s there
I look at her with shallow eyes
So she can see why lies behind
But does she care?
She continues in this savage game
Allotting every blink with pain
To singe me
Her lush lips draw me right up,
A trap poisoned enough
To undo me
To fool me
Flytrap women cannot be trusted
Bound by lust and maladjusted
To torture me, I am disgusted
My tired bones have gone and rusted
My eyelids shut and over crusted
I’ll move past
Right by fast
Nothing here left to harass
I’m gone now
I’ve left you
No wait you can’t do that you
Conniving
And cheating
Brat you can’t look at me
With those eyes
And that smile
It’s torture for a thousand miles
Did I do what I could?
Could you ever love me too
I look forth genuine
See that you have a new friend
And my songs
And my wealth
I do them all for you but
I’m not good enough
Not good enough
I think I’m tough
But not good enough
For you.
