A Foe

The wind beats upon the glass

as if an angry friend- a foe, I think

The truth of their affinity lies not on their lips

but in the hearts they carry

Not on the lips of a second-hand lover

but when the two meet- a foe, I think

The hearts of the ones I knew, do not feel as I once did

not any longer, if ever

The infliction of pain; no accident, no mistake

the definition meaning of no intention

But a true reflection on their hearts

on the thoughtlessness of the deeds

The hearts whom deserve no friendship of mine

a foe
