Folding Socks
They say that curiosity killed the cat, so where does that leave me? Forced to face reality that most refuse to see. But I believe that folding socks is the answer to the questions that people seek. Like why is the sky blue, and God why me? Folding socks is a troublesome chore to some, when in fact this mere “chore” builds character. Although you don’t care for it much, socks force you to be patient and makes sure you see that the matching of the socks is more than just a meticulous art. In fact it is quite ridiculous of this young man to pose such an idea, which no one but he can see. But I plead you listen to me, every time you go to the laundry you will not help but see that socks give you the ability to deal with things much larger than socks. A great example emerges from our “great society”, where people are short-tempered and ill mannered because it takes some a bit longer to learn their ABC’s. So instead of laughing, pointing, and staring at those less fortunate than you, maybe you should go fold some socks and allow them to teach you something.
