There is importance in following

These pages enclose the words my heart holds

If I enacted the things I feel I could heal

Our generation acts as if emotions are no big deal

That's why depression in my community kills

Too afraid of the tools given to heal

We are all just gambling

Abusive tactics on a wheel of fortune

Apologies and anything human is morbid and disgusting

Not many of us are trusting

But poetry is something you can not deny

It is absurd to defy these lines

It is something you should chase down and bask in 

Like the recipies, our feelings hide in

You follow that smell

You taste in a rush and you are burned

But the taste of that cherry pie is worth a cry

Or two, It is worth pain

You must sustain to ordain
