Following the Herd is Absurd

I am not another member of the corporate race

I am not another human taking up space

I am not a mindless drone lead by the herd

I lead from the pack, following is absurd.

I am not another shallow texting teen

I am not another twisted Twilight dream

I am not a rude, bumbling fool

Unlike you, I actually try in school

I may not be the nicest or kindest person

I may not be the idealist and rather listen to reason

But I am an individual within this worldwide scheming

And when I finally hear MYSELF talk others ears start ringing
