Food

Food.

Certain foods can be very enjoyable,

while others are not.

Chinese, Indian, Mexican, it doesn’t matter.

Food is food and it brings me joy.

Whether I’m eating while watching Netflix,

or eating while talking to my dog, it doesn’t matter.

Food is food and it brings me joy,

and that’s all that matters.

Cheesecake.

I can’t bring myself to understand why anyone likes it.

It’s always too thick and too creamy.

There are all these different options,

yet I don’t Like a single one.

Whether it’s Raspberry or Apple Crumb,

it all tastes the same.

Other people seem to enjoy eating it,

though I don’t know how.

Maybe one day I’ll find someone,

who could share my disgust,

for the thick creamy dessert

everyone else seems to love so much.

Chicken Nuggets.

It doesn’t matter how they’re shaped.

Every single one of them are beautiful.

They could be shaped like a T-Rex or a Stegosaurus.

They could also be shaped like a normal nugget.

They will still be gorgeous in my eyes.

The nugget could be covered in BBQ sauce,

or Ketchup or Ranch.

I will always have a separate place in my cold, black heart,

for the children’s food called Chicken Nuggets.

Pizza.

Pizza is like human flesh,

The crust can disintegrate by the touch of a flame,

The blood holds strong like mesh,

Nobody can explain,

How the flesh can be so fresh,

Although it's hard to maintain, its worth the pain,

The best hidden in the capital of bangladesh,

They promise he’ll never go to vain,

though I just think that's pish posh.
