Food Is The Answer
The one thing I can’t live without isn’t cheesy
Then again it is.
I can tell you life isn’t easy
So then you shouldn’t miss
Out on those awful, funny, typical
Moments that people named after a food.
Because what is life without all
The decadent, tasteful and good
Good, food in the world?
Some may say it would be love,
The day they met “this girl”,
But I daresay for me food is above
All the troubles of this world.
For who can comfort you better?
Who can fill you up again?
I would say ice cream, nutella, and peanut butter
Would help me ease the pain.
Macaroni and Cheese doesn’t call me fat
And tacos don’t judge me about my degree
Doughnuts make me feel good in a way that
No boyfriend could ever do for me.
I know, it’s hard to live in such disgrace,
For society disagrees with my “unhealthy” ways
But it is I that won, I laugh in their face,
You can be upset, I don’t care what you say
Because I’m the one eating a cupcake
With out a care left for me,
While excuses you begin to make
About why you’re trying to be healthy.
So I’m glad that what I can’t live without
Is combined with love and necessity.
I’ll tell anyone, I will shout,
That food is everything I could possibly
Need, without a doubt.
I couldn’t get through each day
Without a snickers in my mouth.
And I think John Lennon would agree
With me when I say that food is the answer
For what other thing could be
The solution to end world hunger
And create world peace?
Because, really Russia is just hangry,
Just hand them a Georgia peach.
People would never get angry
If pizza was free.
And I know you may not agree,
But to feed the body
Is to feed the soul
And what is life to everybody
If we aren't full?
So, I know world says all they need
Is love, and really I would,
But really all I need is to feed
My body the way I think I should.
Oh and it tastes so good.
All I need is food.
