A Fool can Love a Goddess, Right?

I am such a fool,

Couldn't have told her that I loved her,

Even when I had the chance,

Couldn't look her in her hazel eyes,

Couldn't tell her what's on my mind,

Cause even when I tried,

The words turned to static in my mind,

Butterflies formed within my chest,

And turned to stone in my throat,

And all that came out was a tiny croak,

My Aphrodite,

I choked,

Yes, my Aphrodite,

I choked,

Is this all some twisted joke?

Never had stage fright before,

But when I tried to tell her that I want more,

My Aphrodite,

I choked,

I thought I should write to her instead,

But my Goddess never got my message,

And it's all because I choked,

Yes, My Aphrodite,

I choked.
