Foolish Fruit

I'm chained to you

Forbidden fruit

I am attached to your side

You control me

You took over my life

and now I don't know

how to get you to go away

I risk everything for you

My money

My time

My relationships

All of it

goes to you

Happy?

Of course you are

At least one of us is

I can't tell if I hate you

or love you

I think about you day in

and day out

Every night

You are my biggest priority

You're always there for me

Ready to take away the pain

I guess you're a true friend

Because you've never left

and I don't know

if you'll ever leave
