Fools
I find it funny how men view her as pliable.
They attempt to corrupt and manipulate her, melt her and mold her into decoration.
Men are like that; they try to contain that which they cannot understand.
They smooth out her curves and cut her hair, dress and undress her, poison her and profit from her deterioration.
Men are like that; they are afraid of beauty.
They applaud her good behavior when she assumes the positions they want her to;
They spit at her with ugly words when she does what she does best, rocking the world from side to side, manipulating the sea and air like God.
It’s funny to me that they have the stomach to abuse her
The nerve to anticipate her actions
The audacity to shame her when she refuses to shine in the colors they had hoped for
When she can flick them away like insects at the time of her choosing.
