Fools Gold
You found it long ago, before some even thought of being
'born'.
~
There was a moment though, do you remember?
On the shore where the sky lapped the very soil your bare feet touched
~
On high, oh you saw it, the center of a spoke expanding far past this world
~
inside I felt no longer poor
and why?
~
i still am and always will be fool
forever lost to the glimmer of your heart.
