A Fool's Moon.

At night, when my eyes go twinkle-twinkle. I count the minutes while listening to their snores like an annoying jingle. Even when hurts, I'll smile, while my heart's bent like a sickle. I'd sit by the fire, and see faces in the red ash. Portraits of my ancestors. They move their lips, giving me tip on many matters. It matters, who sees me enter sacred waters. With each note I sing at the lake, my fear scatters. Fear of the cold. For the next few weeks, I'll stand bold. Cause the next full moon is staring at the earth with lazy eyes of a stoned kid. I kid, you not... The moon is always high. Laughing at us, asking "why?? Stay here when the universe is so perverse. Species be diverse. And out of all, humans are the only ones who develop in reverse. But hey, I'm only a fool's moon"
