Football

In a perfect spiral it flies through the air,

crowds watching and hoping the ball makes it there.

The night is cold, the cameras flash.

Receiver versus corner, a forty-yard dash.

The ball comes down and all the people that came

witness the catch that decides the game.

Touchdown.
