Football Dreams

The last time i laced these cleats Everyone wishing upon me defeat As i walk onto the field the lights shine bright Still unsure who will win tonight Heart throbbing, adrenaline running All the cameras flashing is quite stunning Flip the coin to start the game Unsure of who will be brought fame The playing starts and the emotions erupt Wondering which team will have enough We collide and crash on this tough night Only one will survive this dog fight As the time ticks down and the game is close This is when you know who wants it the most The final seconds past as we raise our hands Can't even hear my thoughts with the sound of the stands All of our hard work has finally been paid As we win the championship football game!
