Footfalls / Abu Karim

Walk over grass in soft

steps lest dew drops should drop down.

Roam in forests with a great care lest

drops of water on arum leaves should

roll down on ground.

If your footsteps sound to be threats

on ground, the tender self of soil may be

shocked. Dry leaves should not be

smashed under your feet

because for the artistic fall

of dry leaves every tree heaves a sigh.

Listen to that sigh with rapt attention,

listen to the scream of wind blowing

through forest.

try to enjoy the unlimited exposure

of nature with all your senses.
