Footprint

All that I need

is to know that I have made a difference,

to know my life was not without meaning 

and that I left my mark.

is to prove that I have DONE something,

to be able to look back and see

the change I brought about.

is to leave a footprint upon the earth

any marking, no matter how small,

be it a smile of recognition, a light

In someone’s eyes.

Is to be more.

A catalyst.

A hero.

Someone who brought the world
