Footprints

Footprints in the sand, in the dirt, in the mud
On the floor, in the clay, in the snow
Your footprints I see everywhere
But wherever did you go?

Ahead of me, but not too far
That's where you are found
I'll never lose you as long as I follow
Your footprints on the ground
