Footprints

Let me scream your name in praise

Lord take me in your arms carry me

You have my permission to guide me

Gave me the breath of your grace

Jesus your love is my masterpiece everyday!

Your the fortress of my days

through the wars of my own gaze

Your the core that moves me

When I had my doubts

and started crying.

Your the miracles that

held my heart open

Clearing my thoughts

your passion created

my resurrection

You watch over me

Like billions of stars flashing

Your smiles are

the sun when it’s rising

The tidal waves crashing

two footprints in the sand formed

you held me from falling

the trials I faced

You kept me fighting.

I’ll sing the hymns in your name

And shout hallelujah as I praise

I’ve made some mistakes,

removing those nightmares

Your my healing rain,

placing the Holy spirit

that protects me

You love me...

You pictured me

As one of your sons

You are my everything!

As I was walking in my own world

I saw the moon rise

carved in the face of the father

footprints in the sand Formed

as the tides kept getting closer

there’s no more, no more

walking on a single string

cause when I’m with you

you bring light too my days.

the wind sings,

as the instruments play softly

the name you’ve put on too me

the flaws of unique characteristics

echo in your creating, I will do something

and make my ring.

with every step I take in my life

chapters in my life will start creating

footprints will be there every single day

as I will not to look down, because

in my beliefs you still love me

for always and eternity.
