Footprints of Gold

If I had one day to come and see your face I would walk up to heaven with a fast pace glowing footprints of bold I would follow the footprints of gold I'd cry when I saw your face and admire your wings of lace I wouldn't want to leave at the end of the day and I'd beg god to let me stay golden steps that walk with grace he'd politely say it's not your time for this place I'd smile in an understanding way say bye to my loved ones for the day I'd go on home telling everybody I knew but no one would believe me and ask if I had a flu I'd go to my desk and paint a picture of only gold name my painting something bold people would say it's a beauty to be told she'd smile and say footprints Of Gold.
