Footstool

You drank from every cup in my house, you drank from me.
for weeks I poured into you, for weeks you filled me

I

let

you

in

I tried to tell you but

the

words

just

wouldn't

come

out

i tried to ask you but

my

fear

it

held

me

back

if I still had you then

I'd

beg

you

not

to

go

you left while I was sleeping, left no trace of ever being

Besides a few stray hairs

and an empty spot where you once lay
