Forbidden Love

I feel you pulsing through my veins

Like Heroine taunting my brain

I don’t know what is real anymore

I hear the Raven quoth “never more”

I’m not Edgar, Mr Poe

So why do I write like there is no more

No more sense or fight

I let myself sink into your light

Feed my want and feed my need

Let me lay here next to you in peace

Snuggle, cuddle, love me more

Darkness becomes our evermore

Creeping through the shadows day and night

Forbidden from the daylight

Your dark whisper flowing inside of me

You have me down on my knees

Mother moon watches us each night

As we dance under her light

Skyclad and feeling free

As you hold on tightly to me

We melt together into one

As we slowly slide to the earth

Wrapped together and intertwined

You whisper softly “you are mine”

LCaldwell

I am a writer, blogger and poet. I enjoy writing and do so when the mood strikes me. I have been known to stop what I am doing to jot down a poem. There are days when the words flow from my mind like water. I am also a parent to 3 amazing young men. I am married to an amazing man as well. We rang in the new year as newly weds. Each year we celebrate our anniversary as we close another chapter in the book of life.
