Forbidden Love

Being in love with someone is a wonderful thing

Even more when they make you feel like the time is spring

Loving someone whose love is forbidden

Makes it a lot harder when you are completely smitten

Race, religon, or culture shouldn’t matter

These things defining relationships surely make my heart shatter

The love of my life comes from a different culture,

Specifially the culture where you would find an Egyptian Vulture

Yes, the love of my life is Egyptian,

But the rules surrounding her relationship wise is enough to make me have a conniption

My chances of being with her surely look bleak,

But my chase for her will continue each and every week

Just because your chances don’t look good,

Dosen’t mean you should walk away covering your head with a hood

I know my determination and persistence will pay off eventually

Until then my feeling for her will continue to grow exponentially
