To the forbidden pleasures of knowledge

Longing the attainment of enlightenment,

As in coitus, as in orgasm,
When the cognitive cogs
Interlock the sharp processes
With the round notches
As in the act
Of the phallus engaging
With a treasure chest,
Chastity present or vanished.
Thus pleasuring one’s self
And creating a sensation
Of fulfillment only the
Apex of human emotion
Can equate. For in
The act of intimacy

Pleasure and rapture are
Grasped momentarily, yet the
Enlightenment of one's notion
Stimulates a twin sensation,
Although short, is prolonged
By our remembrance, as
In the retardation of
Climax. Undeniably, one misses
Purity and decency, in
Favor of self-conscious muck,
Filth, and dirt. For
In growing awareness I
Might lose innocence for
Succumbing to such forbidden
Pleasures, yet I shall
Remain pious and chaste.

With utmost gratitude,

Your subservient disciple.
