Forced Up

Bet ya thought this life would be a flop

But check this underdog, ended up on the top

Yeah, it was me and my brothers

Wouldnt say we came from the gutters

But we proved all em wrong just like all the others

Found our role models throughout all our travels

Holding on to our roots so we wouldnt unravel

And yeah I found solace in some fool that was older

But all the while I was just looking for the safety of a shoulder

My tears dried up, I wasnt giving up

That easily? No, my family's got my back

We had to since the arrest of mom's cardiac

And yeah weve had some hiccups, some bumps along the way

But that blood is forever and we're here to stay

Our lives all soared into different directions

But those calls never stopped, that's the exception

Why we were looked at like we were nothing special

Changed religions and made out to be those of the devil

But God was the one guiding, guess Jesus took the wheel

And now we're out grinding, hard work got us here

Never a hand out, no support from the government (sorta ;)

Look at that bank account now, those were hours well spent (quota)

I don't bind myself with tasteless past regrets

I just mind myself to do things different

All of my trials I started treating as if they were tests

And now just wait until you see what comes next
