Forced to Write, Pen to Free

The screaming, all night and day,

I open my eyes and there's broken glass everywhere,

Grab the baby, run away,

Do I react in violence? No.

Forced to write, the pen to free..

He said I'd be his, won't let me say no,

I scream, I cry, I try to run - no good,

Daddy, I didn't know how to tell you,

Will this secret destroy me? No.

Forced to write, the pen to free..

Forced to write, the pen to free,

Free me from the jail of a home's misery,

From the curse of a secret a little girl has to keep,

Wouldn't let them break me, save myself from me,

Forced to write, the pen to free..
