Foreign Humanity
My soul is broken,
That is something that I will not deny.
I have kept that secret to myself my whole life.
Only I, know my true reason for being on this earth. I spend my time disguising myself like everyone else, but I am as foreign as they come.
I am an alien living a falsehood in a suit of flesh.
My real reason for being here?
To make sure no one else suffers from what I have been contaminated with.
I have talked before about the blank ink that has dyed my skin, and the black smoke that my lungs have consumed, but I have never spoken on the black poison, that consumes my heart, my soul, and my very being.
This poison is the saliva off of the devil's tongue that he feeds his victims for supper.
When I came into this life, I knew, and I still know, that I am living on borrowed time.
An individual's chance of survival with the venom that inhabits my veins is a 1 in a googolplex, and unfortunately, my luck seems to be vacant.
So, I will continue to fulfill my duties of the highest court of angels to shelter all the beaten souls roaming this planet in search of elation.
And as my clock keeps ticking every second down to my final moments in this lifetime, I am alive, whether I feel it or not, my soul has not yet succumbed to my eternal rest,
but once it does, I will no longer have to be reincarnated in search of Elysian, because this is my final chapter, and these poems I hand to you, are parts of my final book of viability.
