Foresaken

Muslims are condemned, to the skepticism and ridicule of the world. Having to work harder to prove themselves and lose jobs and homes because of religion, people refuse to sell or give to the people whom they fear, why must we suffer? Why must we hide who we are? Why must this divide us? The U.S Embassy was bombed. The twin towers fell. The Boston Marathon, put the world back on its toes. The world will never be the same. Terrorism strikes fear in the heart. and shame in minds of others. Stereotypes form. And people get hurt. Physically , mentally, emotionally and if you're me, It'll make you wish you weren't a Muslim. It'll make you cry yourself to sleep, To see the hate found on social media sites from ignorant people, whether they be for jokes or because they truly believe the words written, To see the movies from around the world dictating Muslims as the antagonist and to hear the little girl from across the street saying how weird it is for the my Mother to wear a scarf over her head but it doesn't matter. Life goes on People get hurt But it's the people who stay strong and show the world who they really are who will turn this forsaken world around and let the rest of us shine.
