Forest of Change
It’s something different I can’t explain
Some dreaded beast that was never slain
Tried escaping tried running
But what’s worth running when you don’t know what’s coming?
The forest of change is a lovely place
One of which that we can never replace—
Though its light is ever so bright
Darkness and evil hide in its light.
I’m hoping that it won’t find
The one place in my heart it can hide
Don’t think that it will find it
But guessing is worst then the real hit.
Cause the forest of change is a lovely place
One of which that we can never replace—
Though its light is ever so bright
Darkness and evil hide in its light.
Get away get away before it’s too late
Don’t want to see any blood on anyone’s fate
Just keep running though I’ll never reach the door
I still have to try; I won’t fall through the floor.
Cause the forest of change is a lovely place
One of which we can never replace—
Though its light is ever so bright
Darkness and evil hide in its light.
I won’t let this darkness from me my dreams
And plot within evil schemes
I won’t let it ruin anymore- lives
I won’t let it live or thrive!
Cause the forest of change is a lovely place
One of which we can never replace—
Though its light is ever so bright
Darkness and evil hide in its light.
So I will keep on fighting forth
Even let my body and personality morph
But I won’t let the darkness in
I will not allow it to win...
Because the forest of change is a lovely place
One of which that we can never replace—
And though its light will continue to shine
Darkness prowls on its border line.
