Forest Eternal

The forest glows an endless green, The sight of which is so serene. Sort of like a figurine. It’s all I’ve seen, it’s all I’ve seen. It’s all that I have ever known, A bunch of plant life overgrown. It’s like I’m trapped inside a dome, Never to roam, never to roam. I never thought it to depart, Heading off to find a fresh start. It’s beauty struck right thought my heart. A work of art, a work of art. But now I see it’s all a ruse, So now it lays on me to choose. But really, what have I to lose? So what ensues? So what ensues?
