Forest of Time

Trees rising all around towering over us.

Giants living here astound even the simplest.

Rough bark and soft, green leaves.

Seem to halt all who breathe.

These beings sit and pass the time.

While animals flit, play, and climb.

In millenia they shall pass.

Crumble down and nourish the grass. -TK
