Forest Walker
Alone in the dark dank forest and lo,
Here comes a man to end my misery and woe.
I was scared and lonely but alas I am no more,
He picks me up because my feet are sore.
We walk and talk and he tells me of the forest, where he has made his home
We lollygag and roam.
He hears all the creaks and sounds,
as he makes his rounds.
While i hear nothing.
He shows me the signs of the forrest and he knows what they mean,
we arrive at a stream and I start to beam,
for the fish they sing, and my heart starts to ring.
They sing a song of love and peace
and soon I stat to feel a gentle a gentle breeze.
The man grabs my hand and holds it tight,
as we take flight into the night.
For hours we soar,
never becoming a bore.
Finally we land,
in a pile of sand.
There is no resentment in the air,
the forest is a loving lair where all is fair.
No guilt here,
just happiness and cheer.
The man and I sit near an ocean where singing fish swim about,
After a while we get up and start towards the forrest route.
We are back in the forest and now I too hear the creaks and sounds,
of these lovely wet grounds.
All negative feelings flee for good
in this sacred wood.
I am home, I am free
I now love unconditionally.
