Foretaste of truth

Proverbs 23:7

7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

Foretaste of truth

Taste buds directed by me ... poured out to my own liking

Through habit and tradition ... I formed them into blocks.

Stacked one on another ... in my own appreciation

Seldom to experiment ... deeply chained and locked.

What goes in must come out ... what a great misgiving.

What comes out most of the time ... already resided here.

Depravity my boy ... did not travel from the outside

But was a part of me ... in my birthright’s atmosphere.

Am I a happy camper ... in my little tent’s imagination?

Surrounded by RV’s and folks in search of comfort?

Am I where I ought to be ... in my chosen camping

Or did I just choose idleness ... that I can ill afford?
