Forever

Forever is just a bedtime story my mother told me, A lie boyfriends made because they want a little something more than forever. Thats a tall order for someone who's glass will only get half full. There is no such thing as eternity. If the lucky boy who captured my heart in his old hat and strung it on his guitar, to strum a couple chords to go with the thundering beat, if he ever says to me i will love you forever, I will stop him. And i will say no, baby. The closest you will ever get to forever is the rest of your life.
