Forever

Is it true when you say you love me?

Is it true when you say forever?

Sometimes, I think those are just lies that slip between you soft, perfect lips.

Are they just words to you?

Or feelings, like they are to me.

"I love you."

Do you mean it?

Or do you just love me until someone better comes along.

Those words are something that can make or break someone

"Forever"

Until we die, or until someone new comes your way

Someone who is more perfect than I in every way

Someone who is prettier, smarter and thinner.

Or someone who can make your day better than I?

Do you mean that you'll actually love ME?

Who I am and not who YOU want me to be?

You'll forever love me for who I am and who I'll become?

Or until you find someone better to love, forever.
