Forever

People

They come and go

Some stick around,

But only for awhile

Some build You up

Others bring You down

Time is the one

Who shows You who’s Real

Meeting new People

Can be exciting

But at the same time

Can be nerve racking

At first You don’t know who They are

But slowly They start opening up

You share secrets, fears, and memories

But then something doesn’t add up

After such fun times

They start distancing themselves

You blame Yourself

Not knowing Why

But then Your Eyes open

They finally see

What life does

To help You succeed

Life

It puts people in Your way

To help You learn life lessons

That stay with You Forever
