Forever
We do not die because it is deaths mission to set tears upon the face those we love, have loved and will always love.
We do not die because of a lack of a will to live.
Time has simply done its job and continued to go on like a tireless wave that continues to beat the shore.
Our hearts may grow weaker over time and fail with the passing years, but our capacity to love never fails.
Our willingness to learn, explore, and discover never stops.
Our wanting for more is ever abundant like the specks of light that sprinkle the night with stars that are perhaps already long gone.
Our shells are fragile.
They crack, break, and disintegrate into forgotten particles lost and never recovered.
What’s left lives forever.
