Forever

You say the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.

In this cold world alone trying to find my life while holding off of being someone wife and its hard to sleep at night just the thought danger ahead laying down on the soft pillow hoping its not my last time saying my prayers thanking GOD and hoping i will wake up later missing out on my future because im still into my past worrying why things didnt last for me to feel as if im not good enough to get where i need too be and being free from all these lies and hating myself inside but loving someone forever who makes me want to love him better. is it the simple things that matter?  holding on to what use to be as i set out goals of my unpromising future holding off stereotypes and getting my mind right because forever doesnt last always but thank GOD in my forever i can say, I witness our 1st black president and the dream Martin had, I can say my forever is something i will not forget. But in this cold world alone will my forever be missed? Dont tell me the sky is the limit and it took forever to get footprints on the moon.
