"Forever?"

“Forever” is not Forever,

However it is mine:

I cannot say I've done a thing

To keep my memory alive.

Like all the other greats

And the leaders of our times.

They've effected this Forever -

The one the world knows.

However, this Forever

Is not where I will show.

As long as I can live

And be who I want to be:

Kind, loyal, honest, strong,

Then that “forever” will be me.
