Forever Alone

The icy water pours down from above

Slipping down the sides of the unknown

Fighting to be seen

The voices all around

Surrounding everything

Including me

Fighting to be heard

The things that I don't know

Haunt me

Waiting for me to slip

To fall flat on my face

So they can feed

Their dinner is my mistakes

My flaws

And my imperfections

It is only then that I realize

I am forever alone
