Forever and Ever

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
There is a simple old me,
And an extravagant you

We have many things in common,
From interest to likes,
Soccer and golf,
And bowling an amazing strike

But see our feelings go deep,
And deeper within,
Going to sleep with a smile,
And waking with a grin

I would wait till the end of time,
For the day to call you mine,
Forever are feelings will grow,
Just like a roses on that very vine

Unlike the violet,
As blue as the sky,
Will grow and grow,
Then simply die

But forever and ever,
Are feelings go on and on,
Like the words repeating,
To our favorite Love song
