Forever and Home

As the story goes on and the words are written

The beautiful princesses are being locked away and saved.

Between each line and every word read

We pay attention a little too much on one thing

The beautiful creatures with luscious locks on their head.

It all starts with her story and sees what her life brings.

Well once upon a time a sweet boy was born

He was the first baby during the time of the burnings.

During his birth it was a time of mourn

It was a time of shaking ceilings

And families after families being torn.

It was a time of wars and bombings

It was a time of pain and scorn.

Yet this sweet little boy was the start of new blessings.

This young boys name was Michael Darling,

He was two down from being the firstborn.

He was full of humor and very charming

He was not a young boy that need to be adorn

For at such a young age had blossomed alarmingly

Always so loving and a perfect little light

Not only to his siblings but to his dear mother.

He blessed their lives with joy in such a sad time.

He lived in England with his mother and also

Along with his brother and his sister, the first born

The eldest, Wendy and the second Eldest John Darling.

All three best friends and best Mates as they would say

The bombs going off were nothing but a pirate cannon.

And one night exhausted from a very long day

Little Michael wakes to find Wendy and a boy.

What an interesting boy Michael thinks

Next thing he knows, he’s floating from yellow magic

And flying out the window into the night.

What about mother, what about nanny?

We can’t just leave them, Michael says.

Hush now Michael, we are going off to Neverland.

They begin to follow this odd boy named Peter Pan.

All thoughts of worry and fright flee Michael’s mind

We are off to Neverland! Michael yells into the night.

All his life he had waited to be a real pirate

Now he will get the chance to be one forever.

They fly up to the second star to the left

No longer looking back, Michael Darling

Knowing that where they are going is where

They belong until their mother joins them one day.

In happiness and joy, no worrying, no more tears

No more fright and no more bombs.

This sweet amazing boy being the first of the Darlings

To realize that this is now forever and home.
